The Great Lost Bear Tap Takeover
Orange Bike Brewing Co. Tap Takeover at The Great Lost Bear
Join us for a special night celebrating craft, community, and what beer can be.
On Thursday, April 2nd from 4–8 PM, The Great Lost Bear welcomes Orange Bike Brewing Company for a tap takeover rooted in quality, inclusion, and connection.
This is more than a lineup of beers—it’s a moment bringing together two pillars of Maine’s beer community.
We’re honored to have Alan Pugsley—the “Johnny Appleseed of craft beer” and the legendary brewer behind Orange Bike—on site alongside Mike Dickson and the Dickson family, longtime stewards of The Great Lost Bear. Both will share a few words during the evening.
On Tap:
Pilsner
West Coast Pale Ale
Special Release: Cask ESB (one night only)
As Portland Maine’s only dedicated gluten-free brewery, Orange Bike is proving that world-class beer can be built differently—without compromise, and with everyone in mind.
Come by, grab a pint, meet the people behind the beer, and be part of it.

Tandem Coffee Stout Release Party 1% for the Planet
Tandem Coffee has been with us from day one—neighbors, partners, and fellow 1% for the Planet members. This collaboration is built on shared values and a commitment to doing things the right way.
We brewed a coffee stout together to reflect that.
Join us for the release on April 8.
A portion of draft sales will support Maine Audubon and their work protecting native plants and habitats across Maine. This summer, that work shows up in our own backyard as we build a native plant and pollinator garden in our beer garden.
Good beer. Good people. Real impact.
Tandem will be here, alongside 1% for the Planet and the Maine Audubon.
Come raise a glass.

We believe business has a responsibility to show up—for our community and for our planet.
Join Orange Bike Brewing Company and our partners for a local Earth Day clean-up on Saturday, April 25th. This is hands-on, community-driven work—followed by time together to celebrate.
We’ll meet at the brewery, head out to clean-up sites across the neighborhood, then come back for a well-earned pint and live music.
Schedule:
12:00–1:00 PM — Supplies + team assignments
1:00–3:00 PM — Community clean-up
3:30–6:00 PM — Volunteer appreciation (first pint $1 off)
4:00–6:00 PM — Live music: Swamp Road Riders
In partnership with Portland Yoga Project and our 1% for the Planet community.
This is what it looks like to build a business that gives back—real work, real impact, done together.

New Beer Release - Chai Stout
New Beer Release: Chai Stout
Orange Bike Chai Stout
Warm, aromatic, and inviting, our new Chai Stout is a perfect companion for cozy afternoons and the lingering chill of early spring. Brewed with a thoughtful blend of millet, rice, and quinoa, this stout is gently hopped with Willamette and Cascade, providing a balanced backbone for the spice-forward experience.
Infused with traditional chai spices, each pour delivers delicate hints of cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves layered over a smooth, roasted malt base. The result is a full-bodied stout that’s both comforting and complex—rich enough to savor slowly, but balanced enough to keep every sip approachable.
Enjoy in a Belgian glass for the fullest aroma and flavor. The Orange Bike Chai Stout is made for lingering conversation, good company, and moments meant to be savored.

New Beer Release: Nitro Vanilla Porter
New Beer Release: Vanilla Porter
Orange Bike Vanilla Porter
Available Friday, March 6 at 12 PM
Rich, smooth, and quietly indulgent, our new Vanilla Porter is built for the tail end of winter and the first cool nights of spring. Brewed with a thoughtful blend of millet, rice, buckwheat, oats, and quinoa, this American-style porter delivers deep layers of dark chocolate and roasted coffee, rounded out by a gentle aging on real vanilla beans.
The result is a beautifully balanced porter—full-bodied but smooth, with a subtle sweetness from the vanilla that complements the roast rather than overpowering it. Classic Willamette and Tettnang hops keep the finish clean and drinkable.
This is a porter made for slow pours and good company.
ABV: 6.2%
Malts: Millet, Rice, Buckwheat, Oats, Quinoa
Hops: Willamette, Tettnang
Glassware: Belgian
Release: Friday, March 6 | 12 PM
Available on draft in the taproom
